Fashion behind the Iron Curtain. From Soviet-era wardrobe stars

Если вы интересуетесь модой Вы возможно знаете имя Александр Васильев.  Он известный историк моды, коллекционер, декоратор интерьеров, театральный художник, автор популярных книг и статей, лектор, телеведущий. Его рассказы о моде и стиле завораживают. Я могу слушать часами. На его прошлой лекции я не заметила как пролетело время.

Васильев — обладатель одной из самых крупных частных коллекций костюмов Русского периода. Коллекция выставляется в Австралии, странах Европы, Азии, Америки. Коллекция пополняется в течение более 30 лет и состоит из более чем 15 тысяч экспонатов от XVII века до современности. Среди экспонатов — шедевры haute couture, созданные домами моды: Worth, Doucet, Drecoll, Lanvin, Chanel, Lucien Lelong, Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Balmain, Carven, Givenchy, Valentino, YSL, Carden, Courege, Paco Rabanne, Gaultier и другими. Многие экземпляры были получены в дар из гардеробов знаменитых женщин — Майи Плисецкой, Натальи Фатеевой, Аллы Демидовой, Клары Лучко, Ольги Лепешинской, Людмилы Зыкиной, Натальи Дуровой. Значительную часть коллекции составляют фотографии и живопись, связанные с историей моды.Коллекция хранится во Франции.

 22 июня выставка «Мода за железным занавесом. Из гардероба звезд советской эпохи» откроется в Шереметьевском Дворце. Я уверена это будет удивительное событие в жизни Санкт-Петербурга. Выставка будет проходить до 16 сентября. И если в это время вы будете в нашем городе, то я советую вам посетить её.

 June, 22 Exhibition "Fashion behind the Iron Curtain. From Soviet-era wardrobe stars " will be opened in the Palace Sheremetyevo. I'm sure it will be an amazing event in the fashion-life of St. Petersburg. The exhibition will run until 16 september. And if this time you'll be in our town, then I suggest you visit it.
